How to move to the end of a line, press End.
How to move to the beginning of a line, press Home
How to move to the top of a document; press Ctrl + Home.
How to move to the bottom of a document; press Ctrl + End.
How to go to the top of the next page; press Ctrl] + Page Down.
How to go to the top of the preceding page; press Ctrl + Page Up.
If you've created a document and one or two lines spill over into a new page, you can use the "Shrink to Fit" feature to fit
everything on the page. Choose File, Print Preview and click on the Shrink to Fit button.
How to select text. Frustrated when you try to select text with the mouse past the bottom of the currently visible page and
Word leaps past what you want to select? Those are the times to use Shift + the Down Arrow key instead of the mouse.
How to select a paragraph. Triple-click within the paragraph or move the mouse just past the left margin of the paragraph.
When the pointer changes to a right-pointing arrow, double-click to select the whole paragraph.
To quickly remove character formatting, such as bold, italic, or underline, and reset text back to the normal style, select
the text and press Ctrl + Spacebar (Ctrl + Shift + Z also works). To reset paragraph formatting, such as tabs and
indents, back to the normal style press Ctrl + Q.
To quickly select an entire table, click anywhere inside the table, then with the Num Lock key off, press Alt+5 on the
numeric keypad.
Highlight some text that you want to change the formatting. Pres Ctrl + Shift + F to open the Font dialog windows and
change the formatting.
